Synopsis
This book provides a self-contained course in aircraft structures which contains not only the fundamentals of elasticity and aircraft structural analysis but also the associated topics of airworthiness and aeroelasticity. The second edition includes new materials on stress analysis, torsion and warping theories and also an extended chapter on airworthiness and fatigue. Worked examples are used extensively within the text to reinforce the theory, and answers are given at the end of each chapter.
