These are no longer used only in computers and sophisticated instruments but are incorporated in a wide range of products. This book provides a straightforward introduction to the capabilities, operation and design of electronic logic circuits. The author adopts a practical approach, emphasising the construction of circuits using elements which are readily available in integrated circuit form. There is a good selection of problems at the end of most chapters, supplemented in this edition by detailed solutions. These encourage the learning of design techniques and provide suggestions for the construction and testing of circuits using standard components.
