Shireen Lalji writes stories that celebrate the diversity of children’s lives and family experiences while gently challenging cultural stereotypes. After spending twenty years in teaching and educational roles, she is now a school librarian. Shireen lives with her husband and two wonderful teenagers. Her debút book, So Devin Wore a Skirt, was published in 2025.
Lucy Fleming has been an avid doodler and bookworm since early childhood. She has an honors degree in Illustration and is the creator of Ella's Night Lights, as well as the illustrator of several books, including River Rose and the Magical Christmas, written by singer Kelly Clarkson. She is the illustrator of So Devin Wore a Skirt, which published in 2025.
