About the Authors

Ellie Dix is a board game designer, owner of The Dark Imp and author of the book The Board Game Family. She is a former teacher and co-founder of Pivotal Education. Ellie mentors game designers, completed an OU maths degree for fun, can dance a mean cha cha and is a qualified seaman. She can't cook, but can sing and do silly accents.

Sol Linero is a children's book illustrator and graphic designer from Buenos Aires. Her distinctive artwork is filled with rich detail, bright colours and a love for local culture. She has worked for Airbnb, Pottery Barn Kids, Unicef and international magazines such as Oprah, Jamie Oliver, Wired and Scholastic.
