Synopsis

Colour surrounds us and holds the key to creating the ideal living environment. This volume, written jointly by an interior designer and a qualified colour psychologist, explains how our personalities influence our preferences not only for colour, but also for architectural and furniture styles. By applying the theory of colour psychology to interior design, and incorporating concepts founded in personality theories, the authors take the reader on a journey of self-discovery to establish whether they are spring, summer, autumn or winter personalities. Contents include: what is colour?; international styles; colour psychology in the home; moods and colours; and colours for each personality.
