First UK edition ex-school hardcover with adhesive plastic covered, unclipped dust jacket, in good condition. Jacket is sunned, and edges are creased and nicked. Board corners and spine ends are bumped. Page block is tanned and blemished, with faint remains of a stamp on the page block foot. Numbers penned to front pastedown, and borrowing slip pasted to FEP. Binding is sound and pages are clear. LW

About the Author
Nicholas Rhea is the pen-name for Peter N. Walker, formerly an inspector with the North Yorkshire Police and now the creator of the Constable series and the inspiration for the long-running and critically acclaimed ITV drama series Heartbeat and author of Portrait of the North York Moors. As Peter N. Walker, he is the author of many murders and mysteries. He lives in North Yorkshire.
