Synopsis
For ten years, Kirk Brennan had been an outcast from his home territory, unjustly accused of rustling and branded a thief in the eyes of the law and the people of his own town. Now, he was headed back, determined that the townspeople would suffer as he had suffered and in particular the one who falsely accused him. But when he rode into town, he discovered that people had forgotten him and the crime of which he was accused. His was just another name in the history of the town, vaguely recalled by some, completely unknown to others. Then, in the saloon, Brennan saw the face of the man he had come to kill, the man who had framed him for what he had done himself. Brennan could have killed him then, could have forced a showdown and beaten this man to the draw. But he wanted the man to know who was killing him - and why!
