Synopsis
Heading for Coldheart, on the sniff of a peacekeeping job, Braid found an unlikely companion in Rachel, one of a farm family travelling by wagon. In the violent town, Braid struck a bargain, but he recognized that the girl's presence was unwelcome. However, as he set about bringing law to the lawless streets, the resentments were allowed to simmer. Then came the attempt on the bank, and when the smoke of the fierce gun-battle had cleared, Braid and his girl faced one final challenge.
