Synopsis
Jess Gault knew his friend Lew Axford intended to turn his reputation on the battlefield into a successful political candidacy. He didn't give a hoot - he just wanted to do a good jobas buckaroo on Lew's ranch. Lew had something else in mind for Gault. As long as Gault was at his side, the public were reminded that Lew had saved Gault's life. Lew would have to keep an eye on his young buddy: Gault could be the key to Lew's victory, but he also held the secret to Lew's defeat.
