Synopsis
Poppy James and Jill Squires work hard to build up their antique business in the market town of Foxbridge. One morning Miles Hatherford walks into the shop, causing Poppy to flee. Surely, after the disastrous way in which their romance had ended two years previously, he is no more eager to see Poppy than she is to see him - but she hasn't allowed for his charm and persistence...When Miles and Poppy go to live in London, they rent their cottage in Foxbridge to Chris Langton, who, Jill decides, is a vain, self-centred male chauvinist. At last, there are changes in Jill's somewhat lonely life, with new people around her and the Church Fete to organise.
