Tanned edges, a few spots, black stain to bottom edge. Else, clean. A very good copy. Deming's retrospective account, written shortly before her death, of her year of travel/ travail in 1950-1, which recounts her own lesbian story. The first chapter featured in her short story collection, Wash Us and Comb Us (1972).
