Synopsis
This text draws largely on the speeches given by trade union and political leaders at a conference on workers rights convened by the SA Clothing and Textile Workers Union in mid-June 1993. It contains seven primary documents - the Bill of Rights proposals for four political parties, a trade union platform of worker rights, and the reproduction of the chapters dealing with the fundamental human rights and constitutional principles in the interim constitution adopted by the multi-party negotiations forum.
