Synopsis
Ashley Finley was in the fiery furnace of affliction. The contented world she once knew was now filled with sorrow and poverty. An unforeseen tragedy forced Ashely to return home from college to take care of her ailing mother and four siblings. This was a hardship for Ashley, leaving her heart heavy and her faith shaky. Ashley was at her wits end. Had God really forsaken her this time? Had he left her in the wilderness to slowly die? Dr. Gregg Jefferson, the interim principal at Brookland High School, was sent to transform the urban school’s image and improve test scores. Never lacking for monetary things, it was hard for him to relate to the issues found at Brookland. Dr. Jefferson’s brusque exterior camouflaged hidden scars, thus suffocating his true self. Labeled the Terminator by the students, Gregg had no problem terminating anyone who wouldn’t abide by the rules, including Thomas Finley, Ashley’s brother. Joining forces in an effort to save Thomas from heading down a road of no-return, Ashely and Gregg’s differences blended together, creating a rainbow of hope and possibly love. The unlikely duo was on a journey of discovering why God had united them for such a time as this.

About the Author
Rai Lindsay-Wallace is from Columbia, South Carolina, where she lives with her devoted husband, Kent. Together, the Wallaces’ have three amazing children and five grandchildren. Besides writing inspiration fiction, Rai sings and writes music with her husband. She is also graduate of The Ministerial Seminary of America, LLC, as a licensed Nondenominational Christian Minister. She pastors at God’s House of Healing.
