About the Author

Matthew J. Hatami is a petroleum engineer and entrepreneur. He has worked oil and gas operations across multiple basins in the United States and overseas, primarily focusing on shale oil and gas development and frontier shale oil and gas exploration.

Before venturing into the entrepreneurial arena, he was the Director of Resource Development for American Energy Partners and American Energy Global Partners, with the latter focused on employing American shale technology in international markets.
