About the Author

Rudy Thomas is a former teacher in Clinton County Schools 1969-1985 and Supervisor of Instruction 1985-1992… Superintendent of Berea Independent Schools 1992-1997… Currently, he is the Director of the Lindsey Wilson College Upward Bound project. He has served in that capacity since 10-1-2003. He is a Kentucky author and poet, with publications in: Appalachian Heritage; Mountain Review; Railroad Earth; Wind; Appalachian Journal; Pegasus; handsel; Back Home in Kentucky; Cumberlands; Kentucky Poetry Review; River City Review; The Laurel Review; Tributaries; Of Who We Are; Muse Apprentice Guild; Poems Niederngasse; Help Yourself; Scripsit; the Journal of Kentucky Studies, The Heartland Review and many other publications.
