NICHOLAS R. M. MARTIN, M.A., was born in London, England, in 1951 and came to the United States in 1956. He received his professional training from the Clinical Practices Program of the University of Hartford, graduating in 1975. Nick currently resides near Dallas, Texas, and works nationwide as a conflict resolution consultant with the nonprofit Center for Accord, Inc. His varied background and extensive experience working with individuals seeking mental, emotional, and spiritual growth make him eminently suited to the task he has undertaken in providing an "operator's manual" for successful living.
