Synopsis

What if one moment of insight could change your life?

Epiphany brings together more than 50 remarkable true stories of the sudden realizations, breakthroughs, and defining moments that changed people's lives forever in positive ways they never imagined possible.

Through intimate one-on-one interviews, you hear, in their own words, from people from every walk of life, including thought leaders, business leaders, and artists like Maya Angelou, Desmond Tutu, Esther Perel, Clive Davis, Barry Manilow, and Ali MacGraw, as well as extraordinary everyday people. They share their greatest moments of realization, when everything changed.

Some discovered their purpose and calling. Some found possibility after devastating setbacks. Others awakened to a new direction or relationship, or experienced a miraculous healing.

Their stories don't just reveal what changed their lives. They will change the way you recognize—and act on—the moments of insight in your own life.

With sections titled New Directions, Awakenings, Healings, Callings, Comings of Age, and Miracles, there's something in Epiphany for everyone. Inspiring, thought-provoking, and deeply human, Epiphany is filled with unforgettable stories of possibility, transformation, and change.

The Expanded Edition of Epiphany contains facts and research from Elise Ballard's work with epiphanies; exercises used in her workshops to help you spark an epiphany for yourself or utilize your epiphanies more fully; a readers' guide for individuals and book club discussions; and links to videos of many of the interviews.
