Synopsis
It is Christmas Eve at Buttercup Cottage. Little Red and her friends set off on their trip to Christmas Tree Wood, where their favourite fir tree grows. Along the way, they deliver sugary cinnamon sticks to the mouse family and delicious treacle shortbread to the robins. But as they approach the wood, they find that Little Red's friend, Father Christmas, has a big problem: a sick reindeer has left him with only seven to pull his sleigh! Little Red knows that no problem is too big when you have friends. Thanks to her sack of smiles, and a little help from Roany the Pony, Little Blue, and the rest of the gang, all of the children on Father Christmas's list get just what they asked for and Little Red is back at Buttercup Cottage in time to spend Christmas with her dearest friends. About the Author
Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, started her career in public relations at a London art gallery and worked for a publisher before marrying Prince Andrew and becoming The Duchess of York in 1986. She is the mother of two daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie. The author of several books, including an autobiography, she travels extensively for her foundation, Chances for Children. She lives with her daughters just outside London. Sam Williams is the author, illustrator and designer of numerous picture books for young children, including Bunny and Bee, Cold Little Duck, Duck, Duck by Lisa Westberg Peters and the soon-to-be-released Pea Pod Babies by Karen Balcker. Sam lives in Hertfordshire with his wife, three children and many, many pets.
