Synopsis
Fourteen-year-old Talon, a member of the Downsiders, a race of beings living in the tunnels under New York City's subways, finds himself drawn to the forbidden world of the above-ground world when he befriends a lonely Topsider named Lindsay.

About the Author
Award-winning author Neal Shusterman has written more than twenty books spanning many genres, from realistic ?ction to fantasy to science ?ction. His novels What Daddy Did and The Dark Side of Nowhere were ALA Best Books for Young Adults. He is also the author of Speeding Bullet, The Eyes of Kid Midas, and the Mind-Quakes series of short story collections.
