Plugged In was written with the help of a team of home cooks I met on the internet. We worked together (electronically) for 8 months, then everyone came to my house in Boston for two weeks of "cooking camp." During which time we tested equipment and recipe, and generally had a wonderful time. At the end of the time we had Julia Child over for dinner so she could taste the bounty of the dozens of appliances we had accumlated.

This summer I am going on a three month cross-country tour to teach in cooking schools, department stores and gourmet shops.
