Writing "Science Brainstretchers"
This was one of those books that was just a lot of fun to write. I wanted to share with teachers and students some creative, dynamic, and fun activities that would extend the science program into new dimensions...and this book really exceeded my wildest dreams. I talked with lots of teachers and tried out all the activities with real live kids. The responses were simply incredible. Students were amazed at all the neat ways to think about science and teachers were delighted with the "minds-on" approach to science concepts. When I'm on the road doing science workshops or talking to kids in schools, I still get lots of positive reviews of this book. I'm pleased to say that this is one of my "funnest" books.
