About the Author
Joan Ray is a systems specialist responsible for system administration, facility management, user training and Web design at The Ohio State University, College of Biological Sciences. She has been working with UNIX machines since 1993 and has been a system administrator since 1997. She has trained a multitude of students and faculty members who use the school¿s computer center.
