The "first-stop" book for the intermediate MFC developer
While this topic has been well-covered, Kenn and I approached it from a practicality standpoint. Internal books go too deep too fast. Beginning books don't go far enough very quickly. Our book, conceived after several discussions, centers on the most-used and efficient methodologies of applying MFC to "every day" problem solving. Many wonderful authors assisted us in this colossal effort, and our deepest appreciation go out to those souls and their many late nights on this project. From the Document/View architecture to DirectX programming, this book covers it. Obviously, covering every possible topic down to an in-depth level would require many volumes, but we set our sights on creating the best desk reference available today. I think you will find that we did just that.
By the way, I've written only this book, and assisted Lyn Robison on "Teach Yourself Database Programming with Visual C++ in 21 days". I have to live with a very common name !
