A book for the novice and expert user alike.
I am a Technology Marketing Consultant . I am also the President and Co-founder of the New England Palm Users Group, based in Boston.
I have over 15 years experience as a computer marketing professional. Prior to becoming a consultant, I held sales and product marketing positions at several computer or technology marketing companies.
I am also an experienced business traveler. In my spare time, I operate Business-Trip.com, a non-profit, informational web site to aid my fellow road warriors. I have covered hundreds of thousands of miles, making numerous presentations to large corporate accounts, trade shows, conferences and computer user groups. It was this heavy travel schedule, combined with a keen interest in technology, that lead me to purchase a 3Com PalmPilot in 1997.
Early in 1998, I co-founded the New England Palm Users Group, to provide an educational resource to owners (and would be owners) of the 3Com PalmPilot and IBM WorkPad.
While this book is designed for the novice, I feel the experienced Palm owner will benefit as well. This book covers all aspects of the Palm, from using included applications like Date Book and Address Book to HotSync and the Palm Desktop. I provide step by step instruction, along with screen shots to guide you through the learning process. I've also included some tips and tricks based on my own experience and research. I think you'll enjoy reading Sams Teach Yourself PalmPilot and Palm III in 10 Minutes as much as I enjoyed writing it.
I hope you'll take a moment to order my book. Feel free to e-mail me your questions or comments
