Great book, but not for everyone. You need a high level of electronics understanding before opening this one! I used this book as part of my HND Electronics Engineering course back in the day when the 6502 processor was the current one in use. I used the book for my 'microcomputer technolgy' element of the course and found it to be the most complete work ever in assembly language and programming and intefacing the 6502 an 6522 processors by Intel. Okay, it's all 'old hat' nowadays, but I learned so much from this book and I feel it's a lot to do with the author's style and treatment of the subject that made it such a great book for me personally. Marvin De Jong was king of assembly langauge in my eyes, just an amazing guy. Ah, the old days! ;)
