Histories Mysteries - A stupendous panorama of terrestrial and human histories. Read it for leasure and then forget this book, because it is full of mistakes. Velikovsky displays an excellent talent for deduction but unfortunately goes too far on some instances, which really make his conclusions ridiculous. The line between fact and fiction is crossed too much. By doing this he has not been taken serious by scientists and ruined his reputation, which really is a shame, because of course there is also part-truth in his lectures and his historical works [ Ramses / Sea People etc. ] are of the highest possible level, for amusent, not for seeking the truth. This is a layman's opinion (!)
