Synopsis
A delightful novel about '80s attitudes and relationships. When George moves into Nina's apartment, a warm relationship developes. But soon, Nina gets pregnant. Her lawyer boyfriend, Howard, is the father but Nina wants to raise the baby with George. Howard wants marriage, and George is caught in the middle.

About the Author
Author of two acclaimed previous novels The Man of the House and The Easy Way Out. The author lives in Cambridge, Massachussets. In February 1996 he received the Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres from the French Ministry of Culture.
