Synopsis
The famous ship, The Flying Dutchman, was lost off the coast of South America - and its crew were condemned to an eternity of misery in its ghastly wreck. Ben and his dog Den escaped - and wandered the world, never ageing, moving on only when the ship's bell tolled and a new mission beckoned. But now the evil Captain Vanderdecken wants them back . . .

About the Author
Brian Jacques is a powerful storyteller, known best as the creator of the top-selling REDWALL series. He was brought up near the Liverpool docks. His life to date has been adventure packed - he's been a sailor, truck driver, longshoreman, comedian, folksinger and radio host. He continues to travel widely but still has his home in Liverpool.
