Synopsis
Fast Fox is chasing chickens again but, unlucky for him, it's Slow Dog's day to do chores in the Hen House. Whatever Slow Dog is doing, he always manages to fall and flatten Fast Fox. This time Fast Fox decides to tie Slow Dog up and then he easily catches the chickens. As he prepares supper, Mother Hen rushes in, grabs her chickens and rushes off. Fast Fox follows hot on her heels. Slow Dog manages to untie himself at the critical moment and fall from his hammock, landing once again on poor Fast Fox.

About the Author
Allan Ahlberg produced classic picture books with his late wife Janet - THE JOLLY CHRISTMAS POSTMAN & PEEPO won Greenaway Medals. He has also written award-winning poetry, and fiction for older readers. He lives in London. Andre Amstutz studied at Brighton School of Art and has worked with Allan on many successful books. He lives in Suffolk.
