Celebrity Chef Marc Thuet is a fourth-generation chef who began his apprenticeship in his uncle's restaurant at age twelve in Alsace, France. He received his formal training at the Lycée Hotelier.During his early professional years, Marc worked in two and three star Michelin restaurants and hotels across Europe, including London's Dorchester under the tutelage of chef Anton Mosimann.
Nothing quite compares to a dinner at Thuet's restaurant or perhaps biting into a bagette from his fine bakery. French Food My Way captures his passion for food and includes 100 fabulous recipes organized by seasons that feature introductions and suggestions to guide you through the preparation of these mouth-watering dishes. Each season includes an abundance of recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, from the pantry, and special dishes for festive occasions.Quick and easy recipes to ones that take a bit more time to prepare, Thuet brings French cooking into the home.
French toast with roasted fruits and milk jam; white truffle scrambled eggs, three-meat burger studded with goat cheese served with smoked cherry and tomato relish; wild duck casserole and fresh noodles tossed in butter and fleur de sel; grilled veal chop, summer vegetable gratiné and parmesan cheese serve with chanterelle reduction; rhubarb crumble with vanilla ice cream.Whether shared in cozy restaurant or in your own home, the appeal of French cooking is irresistible.
