This is the first hearing in this session of the subcommittee on Clean Air and Nuclear Regulation, which is a slight reconstitution of its predecessor subcommittee, particularly including clean air, both outdoor and indoor. I am delighted to have the opportunity to be chairman of this subcommittee during this session of Congress and to begin with this hearing.
