Meet Lizzie and Simon Sink. Twins. Detectives. Trouble magnets.
It’s the early 1970s in the not-too-small town of Peachborough, and school life should be simple — egg sandwiches, stinky socks, and a jar of pickles in every lunch bag. But when a cruel message appears on the blackboard, their beloved teacher is left humiliated, and the twins can’t just sit by.
Armed with Lizzie’s endless questions and Simon’s knack for spotting clues, the pair set out to uncover the “Blackboard Bandit.” But in a classroom full of suspects — bullies, jokers, and even best friends — every answer only leads to more puzzles.
Can the twins crack the case before the culprit causes more chaos? Or will this be one mystery too tricky for the Sink Detectives?

About the Author
Hendrik and Estella live in regional Australia. Estella takes up most of the house with her drawings and paintings etc. Hendrik does have a small room near the dog kennel to write. A bit like Roald Dahl, no that's not right. He had a shed or something. Maybe if he writes something as good as 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' he can have a shed.
