Synopsis

According to her religious guardian, Sophia has been blessed with a mission from God. But the orphaned girl would rather go dancing with friends than witness prophecies about the coming apocalypse. When she discovers six other teens struggling to harness their superhuman gifts, she knows she has no choice but to unite the group against a swarm of evil.

Despite awe-inspiring magical powers and inter-dimensional travel at their fingertips, Sophia fears their abilities won't be enough to preserve millions of innocent lives.

Can the teens unite their strengths to save the world?

Shadows of Doubt is the first episode in the action-packed supernatural dystopian urban fantasy series The Emerald Tablet filled with daring teens, page-turning adventures, and otherworldly powers.

I enjoyed this very much. It was an easy read as the writing was well done. The story was more than interesting and from the very beginning, you could tell you were in for an adventure. The characters were well developed and both believable and relatable. Overall, and without risking any spoilers, I would highly recommend this read to anyone. Looking forward to reading the other books in the series. With some exposure, this author could go places with this story.
