Synopsis

Unable to reconcile the failure of the previous year, Det.Sgt Jake North is reluctant to become involved with another investigation. His colleagues do their best to engage him but are frustrated. Experimental enhancements are uncovered, along with mysterious failures to some of the cars at one of the events. It comes to a head when at another event, the teammate of Dan Roberts is killed in an accident. Jake is encouraged to investigate and he deems it murder.
