Synopsis
Lecture Notes on Paediatrics, now in its seventh edition, provides a concise account of the core knowledge required for the practice of paediatric medicine. With a clinical focus, the book provides the information central to an understanding of the care of children in clinical practice. This material is augmented by the inclusion of practice points, notes on evidence based medicine, government health strategy and other relevant background information.
A key feature of the new edition is the inclusion of sixteen OSCE stations, which appear at the end of the appropriate chapters. Each station includes the essential elements of any OSCE assessment.
