"The book is well written and presented at a level that is easy for the newcomer to accept, while not being patronising.
CRM is dealt with as another weapon in error trapping. I would recommend the book simply for their common sense approach to the industry conundrum of "Automatics".
All in all a useful addition to the reference shelf at whatever stage of your career you may be."

One way of improving flight safety is to increase judgment training for pilots. This requires an understanding of the physical and psychological factors involved in judgment. Shortly, applicants for both private and commercial pilot licences will be examined in the subject of "human performance and limitations". This covers basic aviation physiology and health maintenance; aviation psychology; stress, fatigue and their management; and the social psychology and ergonomics of the flightdeck.
