Synopsis
The original "Reflections on Renal Function" appeared 33 years ago. A great deal has changed since then, but the intention has not. Though longer than its predecessor, this is still not a treatise, but rather a commentary on the physiology of the kidneys. The author has tried without going into too much detail to describe something of what it is thought the kidney does and how it does it. Again this book should provide a suitable introduction for newcomers, including students, a guide to visitors from other specialities and an interesting commentary for those already in the field.
