ABOUT THE AUTHOR J.P. Osterman was born December 21, in East Chicago, Indiana. She graduated from the University of San Diego with a BA in English (emphasis Writing) and obtained a teaching credential, and an MA in Education from Azusa Pacific University. She taught high school English and writing for 8 years in Southern California. She won the prestigious Rupert Hughes Award at the seminal Maui Writer’s Conference and First Place in the Southern California Writer’s conference for her one-act play, The Man Next to Me. She also won a very important award as Outstanding Teacher for her student’s literary prizes in writing - 1st thru 4th place – 4 years in a row at the 3 million student Los Angeles County writing competition.
