Synopsis

Legends and Heroes: the Tale of the Taskmaster is the story of Mira, Eli and Gavin: three twelve-year-olds living in the Blue Ridge Mountains. When Mira drags the two boys out to explore an abandoned mine, they end up trapped inside it. A legendary frontiersman named the Georgia Peach comes to their rescue. Aided by a talking raccoon named Big Paw, the Peach tries to lead the kids to safety, but instead takes them through a portal to another dimension. Suddenly finding themselves far below the surface of the Red Desert, they are enslaved in the mines of the Taskmaster—a Villain hell-bent on locating the Cave of Treasures and the Orb of Destiny that lies inside it. The orb supposedly gives great power to its possessor, and the Taskmaster hopes to use this power to vanquish his nemeses: a band of freedom fighters known as the Heroes.
