Synopsis
Hampton Dogs is a photographic celebration of Mans' Best Friend, the lucky dogs who work, live and play in the fabled Hamptons of Long Island, New York. Each page is a stunning full page color photograph of a dog in a beautiful Hamptons location and gives a description of their personality, favorite things, job, places to hang out and rescue story. Lisa Hartmans' photography captures the personalities of the canines perfectly while giving a sense of place and the east end landscape seen through the dogs' eyes. From the Farm Collie Lucy who works at Pike Farms to Newfoundland Maggie, the Montauk Lighthouse Mascot and a Chesapeake Bay Retriever retrieving in North Sea Harbor Bay, the lucky Hampton inhabitants are seen doing what they like best. Hampton Dogs also features the rescue groups that work tirelessly to save mans' best friend. A portion of the proceeds from this book has been donated to these animal charities.
