Carol R. Johnson’s A Life in the Landscape Carol R. Johnson, FASLA, is one of the leading landscape architects in the United States. Currently she is Chairman Emeritus of Carol R. Johnson Associates Inc. in Boston. In 1957 she graduated from Graduate School of Design, Harvard University with the degree of Master of Landscape Architecture. In the past over 50 years, she has been involved many projects at home and abroad. Due to her great success the American Society of Landscape Architecture(ASLA) awarded her its gold medal(the society’s highest honor) in 1998. She is the first American woman to receive it. This book tells you how she lives, works and dedicates herself to the improvement of the environment and the well-being of people. Carol shares with us lots of her experience and thinking.
