Synopsis
This is an updated version of Understanding Business Statistics, the author's highly regarded introduction to modern business statistics. In this second edition, EXCEL 2003 instructions have been replaced by EXCEL 2007 instructions for all the EXCEL exercises. In addition, chi-square goodness-of-fit tests have been added to Chapter 13. The remainder of the book--including page numbers and chapter exercises--is identical to the first edition. As in the original text, the writing is excellent--clear, conversational, and supportive--and the author's unique approach is again successful in demystifying the subject, even for students who are not wholly confident in their math skills.
