About the Author

JAMES THORNTON, former senior attorney at the Natural Resources Defense Council, is a teacher in the Buddhist and Hindu traditions and executive director of the Heffter Research Institute, the only neuroscience institute that studies psychedelics. He lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and the French Pyrenees.
