About the Author

Mark Mathabane is a bestselling author and lecturer whose book Kaffir Boy raised national consciousness about the horrors of apartheid in South Africa. He has been a White House Fellow during the Clinton Administration and continues to write books and articles about education, race relations, social justice, and human rights abuses around the world. He lives in North Carolina with his extended family.
