About the Author

John Graham is head of science at Marlborough School in St Albans, England and has recently acted as consultant to the London Science Museum, advising on publications. Maggie Hewson is a science graduate who has raught primary and secondary pupils for 23 years. She is now the science co-ordinator at Walthamstow Hall Junior School in Kent, England. The school is the distinguished recipient of the nationwide award for Science School of the Year.
