About the Author

Dr. Joel T. Klein holds a Ph.D. in Semitic Languages, Ancient Oriental History and Psychology from the University of Science in Budapest and his rabbinic ordination from the National Theological Seminary of Hungary. On the fiftieth anniversary of his doctorate, he was invited to accept a Golden Diploma acknowledging his lifetime achievements, and upon completing fifty years in the rabbinate, The Jewish Theological Seminary of America confirmed on him the degree of Doctor of Divinity, honoring his multifaceted career as a congregational rabbi and a pastoral psychotherapist.
