Synopsis
In Paris, Victoria Siegel is closing in on the corrupt diamond dealer who murdered her mother. Years of careful planning are about to pay off when she is kidnapped in broad daylight and her sister is killed.
On a mission for a Serb nationalist group, Dalibor Tivoc, war criminal turned mercenary, and a team of Arab fighters hijack a private jet in the South of France. Four hours later, Paris' Vouvray Museum is blown to pieces and millions of dollars worth of illegal diamonds are gone.
Left for dead by her kidnappers, Victoria wakes to find her life destroyed. While the smoke rises from the bombed museum, she hunts down the diamond dealer only to become witness and prime suspect in his brutal murder.
With only a scoop hungry journalist to help her, Victoria embarks on a breakneck race across the world to track down her family's murderer, prove her innocence and get revenge. But in the Serbia capital Belgrade, her ultimate enemy, Zora Drasjnovic, is about to become the most powerful woman in Eastern Europe.
