About the Author

I have lead a charmed life. I have always said this and most people who know me and have heard me say this would nod an understanding agreement. I have had no great tragedies in my life, and suffered no great losses. The greatest loss in my life was the death of my Mother but, even here, at the depth of my deepest sorrow, I have to recognize that there was nothing ugly, horrific, or even unnatural about it. I have three great comforts even in this. First that I was there, there to her last breath. Next, that she went as she wanted, under her own impressive courage. Last, that it was all prefectly natural. One of her last statements to me was, "I would spare you this if, I could find a way around it." This book fulfills a small obligation to her, she always wanted this published. She wanted to establish her identity. Her quest to know who she was and convince an answer "who am I?". From a grateful son.
