When visiting New York City based GLADSTONE MAGAZINE key executives were saying "good night" to their huge, annual LA Christmas Party, full of lively, happy advertiser guests, they had little reason to believe their company would imminently be up for sale.
Set in three cities - NY, LA and DC - the HOLIDAY PARTY is an intriguing, fictional story of what transpires when a benevolent, family owned major national magazine publishing company is taken over by a giant media conglomerate. The takeover of GLADSTONE MAGAZINE by the publicly traded Ballard Media Group is strongly engineered by two members of a sophisticated Manhattan Wicca practicing coven. Though the takeover people in the story soon change the name of the acquired company's annual Christmas Party to that of the Holiday Party, to be politically correct, the figurative paint job they do isn't enough to cover the havoc and chaos they bring to the lives of the people whose strong efforts have ironically made it a prime takeover target.
The readers of THE HOLIDAY PARTY will find it to be a gripping, contemporary, fictional drama.
