About the Author

LaHaunn Eugene Moore has been speaking to audiencesaround the world for over seven years. As a motivationalspeaker and Hawaii State Advocate, he has hosted workshopsin the Oahu area. He holds a Bachelor?s Degree inManagement from Wayland Baptist University; AssociateDegrees in Supervisor Leadership from Hawaii PacificUniversity; Business Studies from Wayland BaptistUniversity; and General Studies from Central Texas College.Additionally, he is a Registered Home Inspector and holds twoapprenticeships in Office Manager/Administrative Servicesand Computer-Peripheral Equipment Operator from U.S.Department of Labor.In the U.S. Navy, Yeoman First Class Petty Officer L. E.Moore enlisted in August 1997 and served aboard the USSLASALLE (AGF-3) forward deployed in Gaeta, Italy (1997-2000); Carrier Air WingSEVEN (2001-2003), deploying aboard USS JOHN F. KENNEDY (CV 67) in support ofOperation Enduring Freedom; Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet (2003-2006) andCommander, U.S. SEVENTH Fleet Staffs (2006 to present).He has been awarded the 2005 President of the United States?Volunteer Service Award andthe 2005 Baltimore/Washington Area First Class Petty Association Sailor of the Year.
